Seribu Islands Regency is optimistic the target of 3 million tourists this year can be achieved. As concerning its number keeps increasing which has reached more than 2 million.

"We believe to achieve the target of tourist this year," said Ismer Harahap, Secretary of Seribu Islands Regency, Tuesday (12/29).

On the other hand, his party predicts there would be 7 thousand tourists who will visit Seribu Islands.

It is based on the assumption that almost all homestays on the tourist island have been fully booked since last Christmas holiday.

"Moreover, the current infrastructure has been improved for tourist convenience and security," said Harahap.

For more information, the holiday trend to tourist island had been popularized since 2009. In fact, there are 5-7 thousand tourists visited to Kali Adem Ports and Marina Ancol, North Jakarta to cross various islands such as Pari, Tidung, Pramuka, Harapan and Untung Jawa every weekend.
